Big question, For the slimline hd with the single lnb a power inserter is required, (swm) We have one that is 21v and we suspect it should be 29v. This may be why we cannot obtain a signal?

Is it a SLIMLINE or a SWM SL dish ?

If it's NOT a SWM, no Power Inserter used.

The LNB should have only 1 output if it's a SWM set up.

Yes 1 output, swm sl. is the inserter correct? @ 21v? or should it be 29v?

29v is for a swm8/16/32 multiswitch. Some techs use them if the dish is more than 200' from the pi however. But generally u wanna use the 21v

Keep in mine swm lnbs require special meters to read signal. Make sure your meter can read swm.

You can always use the 29 volt model. The 21 volt one should only be used with a swm lnb, not a swm switch.
