why did dish drop ifc

I am already sad about amc but why did if get tossed also. I watch both channels on a regular basis.

IFC is part of the AMC Networks. All of AMC Networks' channels were removed. This includes AMC, IFC & WEtv.

Because you were one of the 10 people who watched it.... Seriously, IFC is/was a very little watched channel. AMC wanted to triple its income and Dish said "no way."

IFC, AMC, WE and Sundance all went away because they are all "AMC Networks". They are all owned by the same company.
