What is this sales tax i see

i just noticed it on my bill

0.59 sales tax

i was never mentioned nothing about any sales tax

Anyways I don't tghink you should complaign much. Move to a satellite tax state like florida and really feel the pain. Someting like 23% of the bill for me...

Who is supposed to mention it to you? Call you state or local tax official to get an explanation; as it is their fee!

yes its a first occurance
I had directv since 1998 i think
but i recently added an addtional H20 reciever to the account - last week
and i changed my programming package from TC+ to TC premier the same day last week

You'll generally see sales tax when you add leased equipment to your account.

In Connecticut, we have a 6% sales tax, + a 5% gross sales tasatellite tax) for an 11% total tax. my tax each month for my service is over $10.00 a month.

Ouch!!! Glad mines a $1.25 at most. Cable bills tax is almost 10% and all I have is HSI.
