If your experience was with a single dish/LNB then maybe you had a warped dish or a slightly off LNB or some other anomaly peculiar to that individual equipment. My experience is with hundreds of each type of the dishes/LNB's and the difference is very pronounced. The 1000.2 generally gets higher signals, usually anywhere from 3 to 8 points depending on satellite and transponder, than the 1000.4.
