want to add joey- Cost?

Boba, I was addressing installation which I gathered OP was as well because he asked "How much to INSTALL?"

If you're a little bit handy, compare the DIRT leased cost with the price to own from some place like DishDepot//ebay/Amazon/etc.

Might end up around the same price to just buy one outright. Plus there wouldn't be any extension of contract with owned equipment.

Edit: Just noticed the OP's update saying he got it free with 24 month commitment. Other people were getting charged $50 to $100 recently for Joeys. YMMV on pricing since customers are rated differently and may depend on the protection plan too.

I bought a Joey for less than $60 from an amazing place. I can deactivate it and later reactivate it whenever I want. But sounds like yours will be on full time so see if you can get it for free first.

Just connect the coax to a port on the node. Prob have to remove a 75 ohm terminator first.

$95, not $90. (typo) But, otherwise correct. No add'l commitment is required, and none is offered for a reduced rate.
Yes, one can lower the $95 to $15, if they take the Protection Plan, which is $7/mo with a 4 month minimum, iirc. So, that option is still $43.
There is no free option.

I know this, as I had contacted DIRT recently with the same question.

Personally, I think they should allow self-installs for Joeys. It's not rocket surgery.

Define "definitely". I was told there is no such commitment when I inquired. Although, I see now that the OP got one for free with a commitment. But, there does not appear to be one for those who pay.

Well there's still a commitment and I stand firmly on it. It's just like any other upgrade. Arguing about it here won't make a difference, maybe OP will clarify, but I think he means "may be" as in "even though there is a commitment, I'll do it anyway." Thank you for your failed attempt at teaching English, though.
