TV2 Antenna used in OTA HD port

I don't know if anyone has already talked about this or not, but I scanned my HD locals with the TV2 Antenna in the OTA HD port and I got HD locals with a strength of about 65-70. Would a cable TV amplifier boost this signal?

No, it amplifies at a different frequency and would not effect the OTA. Radio Shack among others carry the correct amplifier. Costs almost the same and the cable amplifier.

Got an amplifier from Radio Shack that shows to be designed for HD..... AND it really helped to boost the signal as well as made other channels I could not get come in very nice.
