Recording with a 622, has something changed?

I tried to record a future program from TV1 but I wanted to change it to use the tuner for TV2. I used to be able to do it now I can't find where to change it. Sorry for being a dunce, but any help would be appreciated.

You've never been able to change the tuner that a show is being recorded on.

Only way I know of is to shift the receiver between single or dual user modes.

Try that.... It won't work either. The damn receiver remembers where the recording was originally set for !

ViP622 User Manual, page 58 - It's called Record Plus. You need to be in Single Mode.

MENU, 8, 6 to turn it on or off.

Allows you to decide which tuner to default recordings to or to select which tuner to record from at the time you set up the recording.

Try this: dual > single mode, then hit swap, back to dual mode
