noticed strange hd picture tonight?

I dont know why but all my hd channels looks tonight like upconverted hd. Im the only one here or something is wrong?

Have you changed your 'Format' with the '*' button?

Same here. Hitting the * button to change the format doesnt do anything. It goes through all the options but doesnt change a thing. What was 16x9 off the DVR yesterday is now 4x3 squished.

I went in to the setup and it is showing 16x9, 1080i.

Mine was doing it too. * button wouldn't do a thing. Then all of sudden everything went back to normal.

I have this problem if I go into the Dish Home on one of the tuners. A reboot usually fixes the * button to change format.

Yup, that did it. Just needed another reboot. Seems to be back to normal. Thanks!!

Good post. I forgot going to HOME does indeed sometimes change the screen format. Reboot fixes.
