My only comment is where the hell was KevinW when we were going back and forth, neither one of us had people arguing our sides with us, they just watched us go back and forth, wtf.
Anyways, Raiders released Walters today, and Clemens is in the starting position for the Jets going into camp. Surely just motivation for Sanchez.
Oh, and Heyward-Bey signed a 5-year deal.

Over/Under - 5 games till TO throws his new QB under the bus.
Still thinking about this :
( Your talking 5 games into the season I'm guessing as he won't play more than a quarter in a pre season game)
After looking at thier schedule :
New England
Tampa
New Orleans
Miami
Cleveland
NY Jets
Carolina
Houston
This is the first half ....
They could be 2-3 or 1-4 after the first 5 games.
I will say IF they lose to Cleveland, the TO loves his QB feast ends.
Jimbo

I'd rather get the Kool-Aid ready than popcorn.
(T.O. may be on my team now, but I don't like popcorn)
yes it's one year. he usually behaves the 1st year. after that well you know already. How many years is TO signed for in Buffalo? I thought it was just a 1 year deal. If that's the case, he'll most likely be on his best behavior if he wants to play again next year.
"Trust me when I say this: It's not going to be an easy game for New England," Owens said to the delight of Bills fans.

I love the bulletin board material before the preseason even starts.![]()

Ladies and Gentlemen your 2009 Detroit Lions (I haven't seriously done my prognostication yet. I usually write an entire season blog with each teams schedule meticulously laid out so that I precisely predict the season.
Here are my idealistic picks.
@ New Orleans : W: Kevin Smith finally wins a game, cries on the sideline as the last seconds tick off when Culpepper kneels down. Lions start on the Road for the 5th straight year...WTF?
Minnesota L: More referee shenanigans like last year's games... Lose ironically on a last second field goal just like when they played and beat the vikings at home in 2007 only the roles will be reversed. Ryan Longwell= their hero. Jared Allen gets no sacks
Washington: W: Albert Haynesworth will be injured by week 3. (Don't wish anyone bad just see this happening after chop blocking double teams). Kevin Smith runs all over the Redskins.
@ Chicago L: Marinelli Bowl 1 goes to da Bears. So hard for the Lions to win at soldier field.
Pittsburgh L: Big Ben leads a last second come back and finds Shaun McDonald for the winning touchdown. The curse of ex-lion players comes back to bite them in the ass.
@ Green Bay: W: For the first time in 19 years the Lions will win in Lambeau, luckily it will be October instead of December this year. Jason Hanson is the hero as he kicks the field goal in OT.
BYE WEEK 3-3 (wowee that was a rough patch)
St. Louis W:Turns into an unexpected shootout. The Lions d doesn't come to play. Lions O still better.
@ Seattle: L: Biggest blow out of the year for them. D still took the day off but the Offense does too. Stafford does mop up duty.
@ Minnesota: L: They get their asses in gear but more referee shenanigans. Atleast no DanO to run out of the back of the end zone. Jon Jansen replaces backus at Left Tackle.
Cleveland: W: The Schwartz goes all fire and brimestone after the road trip and they blow out the Browns in style. Calvin gets 3 tds.
Green Bay: W: Best Thanksgiving day game in recent memory. Goes deep into OT. Aaron Rodgers throws a pick and Delmas takes it home. Ford Field goes ape-Shizz!
@ Cincinnati L: Larry Foote gets injured. Nasty, smash-mouth day with two relative finesse teams beating the snot out of each other.
@ Baltimore L: The Dirty birds done do them dirty. Can't take two physical weeks in a row and get pounded into dust.
Arizona: L: Larry Fitzgerald and Calvin Johnson have a good old fashioned duel. Kurt Warner saves the day in this one.
@ San Francisco: W: Come into SanFransisco out of playoff contention and win a meaningless one. Stafford starts his first game, throws for 360 yards 3 tds, and 2 Int.
Chicago: W: Marinelli bowl 2 goes to the leos as they keep the Bears out of the playoffs and end the season on a high note.
End record 8-8
Probowlers: Calvin, and Ernie Sims

That guy drank more of the Lion's Kool-Aid than I did.![]()
