hi,i am new to the forum, and have been having serious problems with ota reception.I have a outside antenna about 35ft high with a rca preamp install right under the antenna.coax rg6 leads down to a 4way power pass splitter, from there,i have 3 tv sets hooked to splitter going in different directions. On any given day at different times of day television in the living room loses signal, pixalate and just plain horrible to watch.other 2 tvs playing on the same channel showing perfect picture. Some time this television shows nicely no problem.i am always out rotating my antenna to no avail. Now here comes the kicker. There is a cellphone tower about a quarter mile across my back yard.Wow could it be it.If so what could i buy to correct this problem.

If the other 2 TV's are pulling the stations in with no issues, then it could be an issue with the line running to the TV with pixelating issues.

Try swapping the coax going to the pixelating tv, on to the splitter ports of one of the ones that has a perfect picture. See if the pixelating one now has a perfect picture, and the formerly good one now has a pixelating picture. That'll give you further data points to diagnose the issue.

Without a signal meter it is a remote possibility that the tv with issues may just not have that "hot" of a tuner with enough sensitivity to lock a picture. What is the dB loss per splitter port?
