Need Dish Help!

Hello everyone. My dish network dish has been destroyed by a tree branch that fell on it. And i was woundering if theres a way of using a Direct TV dish with Direct TV LNBs that a friend gave me. It is the Direct TV oval multi satellite dish. He said it already had the LNBs set in position for it to be used by Dish network. He gave me a switch called Switch 21, its supposed to switch direct tv to dish network i guess. But when i run the check switch it tells me that there is no switch connected. The reciever that i have is the Dish 301. I would also like to know the angles in wich the dish would have to point. I live in Miami, Fl so if any of you know the angles for Miami FL please help me out with that as well. Any help would be greatly appreaciated, i am going cray with this thing. . Please Help. The 301 has a spot in the menu setup (menu 6-1-1) to put in your zip and it will tell you the angles (peak angles)

But one question on the dish. Can you take each LNB out separatelly or does it all come off at once?

If it comes out at once, it won't work.

I knew about the Zip Code, but the thing is that the direct tv dish says Elevation, and Tilt. And in the dish menu it says Azimuth, Elevation, and Skew. Wich i have no idea what they are. lol. And yes the lnbs are seperate. But again it wont recognize the dish 21 switch. I dont know why.

Go to Ebay and buy a cheap DISH 500 then you won't have to go crazy or grey(which ever you meant to type).

Elevation = Elevation (the degrees wich the dish points up and down)

Azimuth (where on a compass the dish points)

Tilt = skew (the clockwise or counter clock wise direction the dish points on the back plate to get both satellites)
