Just saw ESPN.com's powe rankings, and the top 6 teams are all from the AL.

Here's their top 10:

1. Yankees
2. Rangers
3. Angels
4. Tigers
5. Rays
6. Red Sox
7. Diamondbacks
8. Phillies
9. Cardinals
10. Giants

FWIW, my top 5 would be 1. Angels, 2. Phillies, 3. Tigers, 4. Rangers, 5. Yankees

My predictions:

AL Playoff teams- Yankees, Tigers, Angels as division champs; Blue Jays and Rangers as Wild Cards (no offense, Bill, but I see potentially major flaws in the Red Sox)

NL Playoff teams- Phillies, Cardinals, Diamondbacks as division champs; Marlins and Nationals as Wild Cards

Rangers and Nationals win the Wild Card games

ALCS- Angels over Tigers
NLCS- Diamondbacks over Marlins

World Series- Angels over Diamondbacks

Ali looked really bad.

Just tuning in to check out the new Miami park, kind looks like a square box from above, all too much like the football stadium they were in.

Inside, ugh, what a tough color scheme with the lime green. The $2.5M fixture for home runs in the outfield if frankly hideous.

Yeah. Look behind home plate. That green is ugly. Some really bright colors. It will be interesting to see how many fans show up after this week.

As for Ali was it me or did I hear some gasp and groans as they had him come out in the cart. I don't know if they showed him on the big screen or not but the crowd seemed to be shocked at what they saw.

Terrible choice in bringing on Ali. He is in such bad shape now he should remain in private quarters. If Loria wasn't holding him down he wpuld have shaken himself out of that cart! What were the Marlins thinking??????

Wow...so far, their only baserunner was a HBP. Johnson has kept every pitch high in the strike zone and his curve ball is doing nothing but spinning.

Can you believe they are BOOING already in Marlins Park????? Opening Day bottom of the 2nd down 3-0 and there are loud boos!!!!

I have the volume down due because my son is doing homework. I am recording the game so I will listen to that portion later.

Watched a bit of the game and the green stood out for me as well, good to see baseball back though

Don't know what to think of this. Showing two women in a pool at the stadium during the game. . Fish Tanks. I guess Baseball Purist won't like it.

The game is the same as it was 50 years ago...nothing has changed.

Yup, the yankees are number 1 ..... they potentially won't even make the playoffs ... good grief.

the stadium is actually really nice but that fixture is exactly how you said,HIDEOUS. it's an eye sore and really takes away from everything else.

OMG, I just saw the highlights of the Marlins game, you guys are right, that Green is BAD.

Any chance they re paint a deeper color of green ?

Was watching the Wings game.

if it was the same it would have been played at 1:05....actually Cincy would have started at 12:05 as they use to be the 1st team to start the season ;)
So this game would have been 2nd
