LMAO ...the only time you guys see the sea is on vacation or TV. Believe me when I tell you, NOBODY at the stadium notices the sea green walls until someone hits it off that walls or a great catch at the warning track. That's it.

As far as "home run float". I STILL think it needs more lights and more shooting water after a home run by the Marlins.

Hatcher has nothing to do with their hitting issues. The issue is they have high performing parts that do not complement each other. More often than not average complementary players make the team perform better than a boat load of talented players.

A $5 steak with with just enough salt and pepper will go down much better than an uncooked $200 steak coated with the worlds best chocolate leftover sauce. Just because the chocolate and the steak are the best of their kind in the world, it does not mean they go together.

The Angels are full of high quality steaks and chocolate with grill not big enough to cook all of the steaks and a container not big enough to hold all of the chocolate. The end result is mixing of undercooked steak with leftover chocolate. Not a tasty combination. They have very talented players that have to sit on the bench at least twice a week and others that are playing out of position in order to make sure all of the players get enough playing time.

Marlins and Giancarlo Stanton continue to be the one of hottest items in baseball. Stanton has the 2nd most HRs for the month(7, one less than the leader for the month...and it aint Hamilton...ready? Carlos Beltran!) and the Marlins have the best record of the month at 12-3. Just last month, they could not hit out of a wet paper bag... Damn this is a strange game....

Baseball's owners have approved changing the format of this year's AL and NL Division Series from a 2-2-1 format to a 2-3 format, giving the team with home-field advantage the last three games of the five-game series.

Baseball also announced its new one-game wild-card playoffs will be televised Oct. 5 by TBS and that two division series games will shift from TBS to the MLB Network under a deal running through 2013. TBS Sports president David Levy said a rights fee was involved.

The two division series games will be available in more than 30 million fewer homes on MLB Network than on TBS -- that includes some hometown fans of the teams playing.

Me neither. They had the same format back when the LCS's were best of five. IMO, it puts the team with HFA at a distinct disadvantage. Hypothetically the wild card team can win the first two games at home, and then need to win only one of the three on the road to advance.

Besides, isn't this why MLB added this wild card playoff in the first place?? To make it more difficult for a wild card team to advance?? Very conflicting if you ask me.

Next year the DS will go back to the 2-2-1 format.
