METV Toon is on!

I am getting word that MeTV Toons has officially launched on DIRECTV Channel 295!

This is a great channel! Enjoy!

With that said, I don't know if this channel is restricted by area, as I am told not everyone will get it.

Perhaps similar to regular MeTV on Channel 77, which is blacked out in areas where a MeTV affiliate is carried as a local station on DirecTV, such as Los Angeles? (Although I can't imagine there are many MeTV Toons affiliates on DirecTV, if any.)

I don't have any more details then what I was told and this was by someone who is in one of DIRECTV's distribution partners. So I just passed it along.

i get this channel Over The Air here, along with all the rest of the MeTV channels.

It hasn't launched yet, it only went into test mode on the stream server earlier today.

I wouldnt be surprised if this person who told me is seeing it and thought it was on for everyone.

It is a great channel. Neil Sabin has done an amazing job with this channel!

I don't have any channel 295 listed on my guide set to "All Channels" or "Channels I Get". I have the Ultimate package.

As has already been mentioned, it's only now in testing and, as such, has not yet been added to any DIRECTV package, satellite, streaming or otherwise. That said, a quick visit to Zap2it(Gracenotes) produced this, so hope runs eternal..
