So I have connected everything and last night all the channels i was supposed to get i did but today i don't get none of the channels an it's on live mode not sure what that means
The Joey is a Dish Network product not a DirecTV one. You should try this Hopper/Joey 4 forum if it's a Joey 4. Or the Dish Network forum for a regular Joey.

Sounds like it's not activated. Call and make sure your billing is all taken care of. With all the issues happening right now a lot of people have been getting shut off due to accidental billing issues.
