it was easy to buy boxes and put them on an outdoors acct!!! but it was never easy to buy boxes and put them under a 2 year with all of the promo's wheels and deals!!! i think it takes someone with more authority than the regular sales people!!! i dunno it puzzles me as well!!

I have to disagree. I replaced a leased Wally with a purchased one this Summer with zero problems and all the promos etc are fully available to me. In fact just last week I added the Heartland pack for the promo price of $3 a month for 6 months.

since when do the discount the h3??? I own 1 of the 2 h3 I have and refuse to give discounts anything but $15 per h3 for that, they will only give $5 per joey if I one owns them and I just got off the phone with them to do 2 y

Since when do they discount the hopper??? i dunno!!! maybe it's there way of trying to keep us. i really would love to see there screens when they set the acct up!!! we got more than one qoute from different reps all were different just tells me no one knows what the others doing!!!

what you said is where it gets interesting!!! they didn't want to give us the wheels and deals with a two year. with purchased boxes right off the bat they wanted us to lease them then we could buy em after the two year was over!!! one should not have to lease boxes to get the wheels and deals!!!

Sorry, none of that makes any sense. A: you don't have to lease the boxes to get the promos, we have established that. B: it's beginning to sound to me like you were trying to negotiate a purchase direct from Dish? Trying to buy direct from Dish doesn't seem to me to be the best approach. I bought the Wally off of Amazon. Seems maybe you went about it from the wrong end, buy the box first, then call Dish.

My ISP will let me go from 1 gig to 2 gig service for $5 more a month and I haven't jumped on it. Haven't found anything to max out the gig yet. While my Network is a 2.5 gig network, the only machines with 2 gig ethernet adapters are the NAS units so I can move files quickly. Everything else is gig or wifi. My wifi isnt too bad on most devices where I see over 700 meg down and up at most places in my house.

Same thing here. I have 5 gb/s fiber (1 and 5 are the same price - at&t retiree) but my network is only 1 gb/s and I'm not maxing it out. I'm partial to Ethernet. When I start seeing problems I will upgrade my network. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

it's not that you don't make any sense it's the sales reps that don't make any sense or are trying to do a money grab or not informed!!! we bought our boxes of of solid signal first then called dish to activate them. they wanted to activate them right then and there with no dish . one rep would try to force us to do a pay as you go acct i was like f that i want the promo's. and this dude's in AZ but most are clueless. the rep told us that we had to lease during the 2 years. i call bs as long as i agree to the terms there should be no issues!!!
