Is it possible to have D* HD on one TV, and D* SD on another. I'm thinking about upgrading to HD on one TV but keeping my R-15 on the other. Don't want to spend $299 for a HD DVR yet. I know they will have to swap out my dish for another one.

I got 1 H20, 1 standard DVR, and 1 regular receiver. I concur sir.

An H20, an R15, and a D11 here. All combos work providing you have the 5-lnb dish.

If you end up getting an SD box, just don't freak out when it can't see 99 and 103 sats. The boxes don't even bother trying to find these since (I believe) they were really set up for HD feeds only.
Yes, I was a little concerned when i couldn't choose the 5 LNB dish setup on my D11... DUH me! At least after a minute I came to my senses and remembered the content of those sats.
