It doesn't work for me on Windows. I don't remember enabling any cookie protection on Firefox itself other than whatever the default settings may be. I do have ublock origin and Malwarebytes Browser Guard enabled, but neither are reporting blocking anything.
It does work with Edge, which I'm sure I've never modified because I never use it intentionally, but it's weird. If I try to log in, I get the whole business about not redirecting properly that I get with FF or Chrome. If I don't try to log in, it believes to an extent that I'm logged in anyway, in that it knows what threads and messages I've read and haven't read, but yet any links in messages get replaced with a message about only being viewable to registered users! I have not attempted to post a message to see if it thinks I'm logged in then.
This is not the first problem I've had with the site, even when it was otherwise working properly. A few years ago, I found that my password suddenly no longer worked. Attempting to change my password never resulted in any email being sent, no matter how many times I tried. So eventually when I had a need to post something, I just created a new account. I never saw any messages chastising my old account for offending anyone (any more than I usually do...), but I wasn't going to ask about it, so I have no idea what was going on.
