Hopper w/sling red recording light

My red recording light on the front of the Hopper box is always on even if I'm not recording anything. Is this normal?

Nope. Try a red button reset.

Along with the reset, I'd also press the red button on your remote to see if it shows anything is recording.

Nothing was recording. Trying the red button reset now.
