Everytime I check the front page, satguys has set a new record of users online.

Server seems a little slow but is doing pretty well.

The Alexia Link on the bottom of the page ranks SatelliteGuys.US speed as "slow"?

This site has always been one of the fastest site I visit. How does Alexa determine this rating?

It determines this because of the spped of the homepage and not the actual speed of the site.

Because the homepage has a few features which call additional servers we don't control (i.e. Sports Scores and the Weather) Alexa rates us as slow.

I wish ALexa tested more then the homepage, as I work hard to keep things as zippy as possible speed wise.
