HD Locals question

Directv has only 2 of my locals in HD. I heard that if some of your big 4 locals weren't in hd, you could get them from directv. Can someone please confirm this. Thank you in advance

It all depends. Are the other 2 channels available in HD - but just not to DTV? If that is the case (as it is with me) - you are pretty much sh*t out of luck. Some areas only have contracts to supply the SD feed to DTV - not the HD. Supply more information like zip code so others can see what is available in your area.

my zip code is 18504. The channels directv has in hd are ABC, and FOX.
