Not sure I understand the question, but the DVR has two sets of analog LR outputs, and 2 sets of composite video. The composite outputs are only active with 480i selected, so if you wish to display tv outdoors, you either need to split the component outputs and use a tv outdoors with component inputs, or switch the video to 480i when watching tv there. For audio, you are good to go.

There is only 1 set of analog audio outputs, one TOSLINK output, and 1 composite video output on the HD-DVR. Of course there is also the S-video, component, and HDMI output too.
