Have these movies been broadcast in HD ?

What channel ??

I did a search for "How The" a few days ago, and it did not show up in the results...

I'm sorry, my mistake. It was Once Upon a Time in the West, on Cinemax HD on 02/20.

Monterey Pop was on Cinemax HD on 02/21, recorded that also!

Note that it was filmed in 16mm, so even if and when they get around to showing the HD transfer, it will still not look as good as the average HD movie filmed in 35mm.

Yeah, I didn't know this til you mentioned it, I checked it out, and it IS awful. I know it's 16mm, but it doesn't even look like it's been upgraded since 1969.

Cool movie though, just looks bad on HDTV.
