OTHER GT Media V9 Prime DLNA Function

I see this receiver has a DLNA function listed under the Apps. I've switched it ON. How can I use it? Would this allow me to stream video from the receiver over my local network to my PC?

I want to be able to view 4.2.2 on my PC as I do with my Edision. Or I want to be able to stream to my smartphone app so I can use the smartphone to monitor received tps when outside at the dish orienting.

In theory, you should be able to point VLC at your receiver via UPnP and service discovery and watch the video on your PC. There should be a good number of guides online for enabling DLNA features and streaming on your computer.

This may, in fact, be bi-modal - either straightforward or a complete PITA.
