I have a UDF file and other boot loop stuff somewhere on one of my computers, if you end up needing anything, I'll look for it. What OS is on the computer that you're using? My Win 7 computer recognized and installed the cable with no problem but my Vista computer had issues with it. If you have more than one computer, you can try it on a different one and see if it recognizes the cable.

Edit: Just reread through the thread in the link I posted above and the UDF file is posted within that link.

You're welcome. I never tried it on XP myself, but this driver says that it works for XP, if your cable has the PL2303 chipset, the most common one.

No chipset; just a cable.

There's a chip actually built into the cable itself, usually the 2303.

Still learning! Found it. TYhe chip itself has two numbers PL-2303HX and L-C14083A. The circuit board is labeled TTD-C
GS27159

So looks like I have the 2303.
