Frustrated Hopper/Joey problems. Known issue UNUSABLE

Talking about my old receiver as the new one has not arrived (UPS Stopped delivery because it snowed 1" here, yesterday.

Do you know if I can use restore on a hopper when the backup is from another hopper.. Maybe - does it go by account or hopper mac?

Are you talking about backing up and restoring from the remote, for timers and settings? If so, yes you can. Just press and hold 0 on the remote and back it up, then press and hold 0 on the remote with the new hopper once its up and running and choose Restore.

Dish was unable to get the joey's going. Setup up a ttech visit/ I was able to get them going and cancelled tech visit Saturday. Fixed phone problem today. Broadband, joey's, caller id work. On S238
