Fade To Black

Hi everyone,

Has anyone noticed a subtle problem on Showtime HD and HBO HD, especially in darker scenes, where the picture gets darker in one second increments? I'm using a ViP 622 via HDMI.

At first I thought it was my TV, but it only happens on these two channels. And as I wrote, it's most noticeable in darker or dimly lit scenes. If you watch closely, about once per second the picture gets slightly darker.

Once the scene changes, it goes back to normal.

Can anyone else confirm this? I really noticed it on The Tudors, but now that I see it I can notice it in many different shows and movies.

How do we go about reporting a picture quality issue like this? Is there an email address, or are CSRs trained to handle things like this (I'm guessing not...)?

I don't see it on hbo, only see the effect on the tudors.
