Can a FULL TNAP backup image from a full size Edision OS Mio 4k (Single tuner) be flashed to the Edision OS mini 4K and work? Or are there some changes between them where it won't work?

Thanks!

Perhaps not. Guys? It might be possible to backup the settings file to save a complete tuner setup. Would like to see the existing mini file.
/etc/enigma2.
The lamedb might be the same. Again a comparison between the receivers would be handy.
I know that because I use my own custom satellites.xml between mio4k images. And usually splicing in the nims lines from settings works. It's a time saver. My channel editor of choice is E-Channelizer and so far writing the lamedb between images is fairly headache free.
But as far as a settings backup from the mio and restore into the mini. Dunno.

Per E.B. at Legit: "To clarify, A regular image will be rejected. A backup multi-boot image from a Mio will probably load and run, but there are differences between the receivers such as tuners and I think memory. A backup from the MIO should load in the Mini, but IMO, not the greatest of ideas to do so. There are better ways if you have telnet and FileZilla."

I hope it works. My way? Save the settings file at the very least using FTP to a known location.
New image after setup. Make sure both images have the same IP or you create new profiles in telnet, Filezilla, channel editor.
Same IP is easier.
Add your first sat. in tuner setup. Save it. Gives you a marker for the next step.
Telnet and init 4 your receiver to take Enigma2 offline.
Open the settings file in /etc/enigma2. Open your settings file from the other image you saved.
Copy the entire nims section from the saved file and paste it into the new image settings file. Overwrite the marker satellite you configured previously. I've made that section all caps in the attachment to clarify. Keep your as it is.
Assure that the start and end locations match in the pasted section. Save it.
At that point after the newly edited settings file is saved to the receiver. You can init 3 telnet to bring Enigma2 back online.
Or type reboot in telnet. My preference.
With the receiver back up and working. Open your channel editor and bring up your recent lamedb file from where you saved it on your pc, etc. Write it to the receiver.
TNAP being TNAP. However you do it. When the channels are saved. Cycle up/down your bouquet list. Satellite names in my case.
You should be good to go. Double check your satellites in tuner setup to make sure everybody's happy.
10 minutes to document, 3 to actually do.

The section you copy from image 1 to image 2 is capitalized:
