Just curious,how does HD content look on it?I purchased a 4k tv a few weeks ago for $299. The 4k content I have found online has looked amazing on it.

Now you know why the price is so low.It looked like crap. (Both DISH and DIRECTV) the set has a very poor line doubler which made things worse.
Unless you have inside information to the contrary, this is more than likely a false claim.The resolution that dish presents is full 1080.
I really cannot tell very much difference in SD and HD on small TVs. But I'm pretty blind even with glasses. The larger TVs, 37" and above, it starts becoming more evident.
DLP technology is not much like LCD technology. DLP is all about mirrors that move while LCD is about crystal orientation.Flat panels won't last much more than 10 years anyway (look at the example above of the DLP that had to be replaced due to picture degradation).
I know I'm not missing two or three thousands dollars from my bank account!Got a 65" Samsung 8550 UHD TV in April. Truly one of thee greatest f'ing TV's on Earth!

The 65" Samsung 8550 goes for closer to $3,200 on Amazon, Best Buy and Sears.I know I'm not missing two or three thousands dollars from my bank account!
