Coming Back to Dish; Anything I should be aware of?

About only way to find out is to do some "tweeeeeeking". Worst case would be it could get so far out of wack, that I may pick up signals from Mars.

Be prepared to pay an extra $28/month for the two 222k's on top of your monthly price for your programming. I'm sure you've probably heard of about Dish jacking up the rates for secondary receivers on your account.

I'm curious to know how come he'll get charged with $28/month for the two extra non-DVR receiver? That's makes a $14 per receiver.
I thought the each additional receiver after the 1st one only $7/month? No?

No. It's $7 per tuner (except for the 512/612 which count as one even though they have two) + $3 more if it's a DVR.

Dish is pretty reliable, but I have a feeling later winter, early spring 2013 we're all probably gonna be in for a heck of shock price wise.
