I wonder why he would want a job at SiTV over one at Echostar? I would have figured that Echostar would offer better pay.

i have a feeling this is viewed as a horizontal move for him(i suspect that ANY CEO of podunk probably still makes more money than a VP at echostar and this allows one of charlie's boys to run the joint...)

I dont know about that. However I guess depending on how you look at things he is still technically working for Echostar.

I never liked for Michael Schwimmer until I finally met him and got to hear him speak and then I found a new respect for him and understood why he did a lot of moves that he did, especially in the International arena.

Hey, the replacement dude or dudette might turn out to be no better.

I suspect that nothing happens without Charlie's approval, so whoever is in the slot may not really matter a whole bunch.
