I agree, someone will buy it for the parts. Someone will use the hard drive and the tuner for something. But I would be clear in your post that it is as is and you are not responsible if E* won't activate it.

Just your luck. I replaced a 6000 in April and said a 612 would be fine. But at the time they were in short supply so they offered me a 622 instead. And they did say in a Charlie Chat about that time, they were planning on revising the 4 leased tuner limit.
