Any new Software for the D11-100 and the D11-500

Any new software for the D11-100 , D11-500 and the H20-500
i tryed searching for the info and cant seem to find anything about an update

The last update for all D11's was the x1040 software.

This software allows the Game Lounge to run. If you have a earlier version you cannot access the Game Lounge.

Oh, and that is H20-600 (or 100) not 500. The H20's latest update is still in testing. I do not know what the version number will be or when it will be released.

Open the access card door on your receiver and hit the reset button. When the screen says "Heelo,your directv recevier is starting, please wait" (or something to that effect).. hit 02468 on the remote. This should take you to the "Downloading New Software" screen. Keep trying until it downloads version 0x1040..

If you do this(did it with my D11-500) and it starts to reset itself(like twice a day)and you go to the guide and the time is off.It means it's not reading the software
correctly,then you will need to call DirecTV Tech to obtain a return authorization and they will send you another receiver(D-10-300 in my case).

P.S. DirecTV Tech will also tell you NOT to do Forced Updates.That the receivers should update automatically(do not know if this is true but having to replace 1 receiver myself made me a believer!).Good Luck!
