Aim with unactivated receiver

I was doing this by hitting sysinfo button a few times and then cancelling out of that and hittig MENU on the remote. I let the receiver update to latest software and that trick doesn't seem to work now.

It's a 211, anyone know how I can get into the menus now?

If you are trying to see what your signal strenght is you need to press menu 6, 1, 1. From there you can do a check switch.

If it is stuck on the "Receiver not yet authorized screen" unhook the sat in line from the rec and reboot it

Thanks, never though about booting it unplugged from dish. Works.
