8VSB module in a 6000 receiver

What is this module for? I'm looking into buying a used 6000 receiver but the seller states that the 8VSB is not included.

Don't buy it.

The 8VSB module is for the OTA HD that you can pull in.

Tuning in OTA... the 6000 has 2 modules the 8vsb and the 8psk ...
