612 @ OTA

A friend of mine just called me (from a long way away) and is trying to use his antenna with a 612. I'm not familiar with the 612 as I have a 722. Can he plug into the back of that 612? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Yes, he can connect his ota antenna to the OTA input on the back of the 612. Then he will scan for locals by accessing Menu-System Setup-Locals. (menu-6-8)

Works pretty much like a 722 still needs authorized programming to work and a good ota signal.
