5 days into the event looks like the Dish 4k Olympic coverage has gone dark. Too bad, I was really looking forward to it...

The 4K Olympic channel 146 went live on 8/7/16 as was promised in the Press Release.
VOD will probably follow once enough content is accumulated. So far it's just the first two days of the Judo competition. VOD is supposed to have the same content as shown on ch.146.
The Opening Ceremony - very unlikely, since it was never mentioned in the Press Release.

As of this morning there is no 4K VOD either on DIRECTV. Looks like NBC has not uploaded anything yet for VOD.

FYI, RIO Olympics VOD is now available on Dish including Judo Day 1 in 4K!

The Opening Ceremony is listed there too, but it's in HD, not in 4K.

They sure make it hard to find the 4K content. Even though there is a 4K category, 99% of it is HD.
