As a minimum, Dish could buy the Directv's DBS transponders at 119W and/or 110W. I am not sure if Directv is using these transponders.So with $24 billion after all debt repayment, then Charlie could buy out right Directv and end up owning both satellite companies. IF he intends to stay in the video business. I heard on Cord Cutter news site that Echostar will announce it's future plans this week. So we might hear some news by weeks end?
