I disagree . Scott is usually right.......eventually.. he just misses the datesThese threads are full of posts asking Scott what the latest info is or even worse posts quoting Scotts latest prophecy as if it were on stone tablets. It is just sad that Scott has so much clout with the readers of this forum when he has NEVER got any "inside info" that panned out. On top of that I have read quite a few posts that say something like "sounds like Scott knows something he's not telling us". WHAT?!? He tells too much and I am still waiting for one to be right.
A broken clock is right twice a day yet Scott is NEVER right. So I think it is time to stop the "sources tell me" post.
There is nothing wrong with him or anyone else posting "I think we will" or "my gut tells me" predictions. But when you add validity to your post by quoting an "inside source", you had better be right more than you are wrong. Of course here everyone is quick to clear Scott by saying DISH changed their plans.![]()
heck the Person DishN3twork has come to this site with better information over the past few weeks than the owner of this site.
One example is all I am asking for.I disagree . Scott is usually right.......eventually.. he just misses the dates
I guess you don't see the enormous amount of ADS this site has!! (There is nothing wrong with starting rumours to increase traffic) But lets call A SPADE A SPADE. IF you notice there were an equal number of WRONG D* rumours back when the d* folks were still salivating for HD
Ads, you're right, I don't see them. I supported this site by joining the pub so no adds for me.
One example is all I am asking for.
I think the fact that NO ONE can point to a time Scott said "my sources tell me" and it came true should be an eye opener.

i too think this is a very good question
I was praying for it.Why are you still here? I thought you wanted to cancel your account?
He has no other forum to go to where he can share his fresh, steaming pile of opinion on a regular basis. Why are you still here? I thought you wanted to cancel your account?
You want less "post calling for no more inside info posts" and I want less "inside info posts". Are we so different?... your accusations and tones are greatly taking away from the positive experience I get from this site.
...Finally some folks do not like me posting rumors. I am sorry to say that if you don't like me posting rumors then don't let the door hit you on the ass on the way out. We do something here that no other site does and I have no intention of changing that. If something is labeled as a rumor then take it as that a rumor. I will keep my ear to the ground and will continue to report what I hear. In addition I will continue working to bring you things that no one else does, including coverage of Team Summit and putting SatelliteGuys members face to face with folks from the satellite companies.
With that said, there are interesting time ahead and I hope everyone will stick with us so you can read it here first hand instead of reading it someplace else days or weeks later.
I am proud of SatelliteGuys and I am proud of where we are headed.![]()
