I don't know how old that is, but when I met with a rep from Universal (USA's Parent Company) I was told that the launch was pushed back until the spring of 2008.

UNI-HD does show Monk.

UNI-HD also shows Sci Fi Channel programming.

Note that the HD channel name change today did not include UNI-HD which is circumstantial evidence that it will be replaced with HD versions of the SD channels.

they should just switch uni-hd to usa-hd

I see very little use for Universal hd since all they show is old reruns in "hd". I think that making it Usa hd would be much better use for it.

I have to agree. UniHD is pretty worthless except on SciFi Saturday. With all the inventory at their disposal, it's sad.

So long as they dont get rid of anything good to make is USA-HD. I dont think any of the sci-fi channel stuff is on USA.
