Search limitation ?

If I do a search for "722", it appears to stop at (500) results. Problem is, with that search term, it's only going back to July of this year. Can the (500) result limit be overridden ? Or would using Google to search the site be a better option ?

Not the best answer, but if you use advanced search, and select from a year ago (or whatever date you want), and older, it should give you the 500 prior to that. Its certainly not ideal, but then again, I find vBulletin's search tools to stink generally.


I am not sure if the search engine limit is fixed at 500. Will check into it.
