Unless they have changed, they supply a European style cord plug with a 120V/US adapter plug. I had trouble losing power (Elite) at the adapter, and at 120V, I didn't want an electrical fire. I replaced this with a standard 2 pin cordset. I had one lying around, but I am pretty sure you can order one online or get one at RadioShack.
Thanks Iceberg. do you know if its a part that you have to order or somethign the store typically carries? I was going to call but wasn't sure what to call the cable
Mine came only with the weird European power cord, but I had about 3 or 4 cords from other old receivers and other equipment. It's a pretty common plug at the receiver. If all else fails, just cut the European plug off, and go to a hardware store and wire in a regular plug. Would only take a couple minutes. If I remember right, I don't think the power cord was polarized. (Which makes me wonder about how well grounded the receiver can be)
