Anyone else lose these? I've reset the receiver several times and poof they are still gone.

What signal do you have on 28 and 32 on 119?

28 no signal and 32 is only 38. I don't get this problem with the 119. I'm standing in front of my dish and to the left is east and the right is west right? There is nothing to the right to be blocking 119.. There is an odd branch to my left high up that could give me problems but I'm getting 101 and 110 95 plus signal strength and no fluctuation. This is driving me nuts. Any help would be appreciated. Perhaps I'm experiencing tree growth that will block 119 completely? There is no wind and it is still fluctuating from 40 - 70. What does a bad lnb do? The dish is almost brand new.:(

Not knowing what channels are what transponders, I suggests you pull up your 119 signal strength and very gently move the dish (using one finger) back and forth and up and down while someone watched the signal meter. Locals are usually on spot beams, and have a very high signal strength if you are in the main part of the spot beam. Transponders covering the entire country usually have weaker signals. It is entirely possible that your dish has moved enough to lose the weaker transponders and still maintain a decent lock on spot beams.

A dish adjustment MIGHT be required. It all depends on what you find when you gently move the dish around. Keep the bolts tight until you know for sure a dish alignment is needed.

Man I'm an idiot when it comes to concrete. I'm able to pull on the poll and move it a bit. Enough to peak the 119 signal to 65 or lose it completely. Obviously it is not solidly in the ground. Should I move the dish back a few feet since it is not solidly into the ground? The signal seems to come in better when it isn't plum and it is at an angle up. This is probably the reason my signal is jumping and not a branch?

When you are looking at the back of the dish(can't see LNB through the dish). 119 is on the right. In your area it's almost at a 45 degree angle. Don't let the offset LNB and multi-lnb's fool you where it is pointing at.

You really need to re-set your pipe in the concrete correctly first. Make a hole in the bottom of the pipe that will go into the concrete; put a bolt in the hole, making a "L" of sorts. When the concrete dries around that it WILL NOT move.

Since the pole is a bit lose should I pull it up and scratch the whole location and move a foot or two to the east and back? WOuld that give a better look at 119? I peaked to signal at 70 while fooling with it. I'm thinking of just calling a local pro.

Thanks for the advice and if I don't move the location a bit I will do it. Thanks to everyone for all the great information and advice.

Agh! I got my locals in at 75 strength but I'm still not getting good strength on the transponders with EPSN2 and Discovery HD. I'm at a loss! How can you get a sat in and not get all the transponders?
