I own 3, and I've had to have one repalced, it happens. In the two years the HR20 has been out, the software has improved significantly, almost like a totally different product then when they launched it.

Most folks only post when they have problems, not when all is well. I'm happy with mine and have OTA capabilities as well.

My HR21 missed a few recordings with one of the early firmware versions, but has been without problems for several months. Even Tivos occasionally had hiccups (I had a hard drive go bad after one month).
