How do I reply to a personal message?

I received a personal message from a senior member. I want to give him the courtesy of a reply, but I am a forum/message board noob. How do I reply to a personal message without having it go all public by mistake? Thanks.

There should be a quick reply to sender box below the private message when accessed, or look on the right below the message and there will be a forward and a reply button...
