3 times in the past 3 weeks when trying to re scan the ota channels, it gets about 80% through and then the box reboots. Anyone else having this problem? luckilly It doesnt delete the channels that were already in there. Thanks in advance.
Sounds like the usb ota dongle is crappy or the Receiver is crapping out. Process of elimination. Try another usb ota dongle first and if it craps out again replace the receiver through DISH. I assume you pulled the plug on it to reboot it already and made sure it has the latest software. Another thing to check is if you have split the antenna signal to your tv as well , you should check and see if there is a problem with receiving all the channels on it to eliminate the antenna as the problem
