HDMI question

I am going to purchase a DVD burner, and was thinking of getting an HDMI cable to connect it to my 622 receiver, but remember people saying the HDMI outputs on the 622s weren't working. Does anyone know if this problem has been fixed?

I have had a 622 for almost 2 months and my HDMI hasn't had an issue yet.

As far as I know, the 622 never had an issue with the HDMI. The 211/411 had the issue. Regardless HDMI issues have been fixed.

The 622s definitely have had HDMI issues. If by fixed you mean getting a replacing unit that works, then you're right on that count.

Exactly which DVD burner are you getting? I've never heard of one with HDMI input. You're probably thinking of output, in which case your question makes no sense.

As far as I know DVD recorders use either RF or S-video or RCA in. Up-converting players use HDMI out
