HDCP?

I now have two dsr505 receivers. Why does one receiver display, "HdCP", when I turn it on? When the TV goes on, I see a message, "not HD compliant". How do I make that all go away? Both TV's seem fine when watching HD. Thanks...

It is due to a software upgrade by *C to prevent people from copying shows digitally. From it looks like, so far *C has not been able to do this without causing problems to many users including black screens to what you are seeing. The best way to avoid this is to hook your receiver up with component cables instead of DVI to HDMI for video.
