Getting software updates from Voom: Is this like a game??

A. How do we even know anything go upgraded?

B. do we get information on what the update fixed? What kind of bugs?

The software upgrade is done automatically. You can hit the Voom button, than hit the green button, pick the system settings option, the first screen will tell you what software you have, and the next line will tell you the target software version. If you have the latest software it will show N/A.

If your channels change quickly and you get a warning that you can really muck things up when you go into the System Setup then you have the latest upgrade.

Are you asking about upgrading from the version shipped with the STB (usually 05.08) to the most recent one (05.68)? Or are you asking about future upgrade to the next upcoming version?

In either case, as Scott pointed out, you can expect to find the list of features and fixed bugs here in this forum, as soon as the new version is released. Here is the info about the versions released so far:
