Dirt please help with HD upgrade

Upgrading from a 301 to HD, probably a vip222. Wanting to know the cost to upgrade and if we own the 301. We were told nine years ago if we stayed with Dish for two years the equipment would be ours.

Just be aware, that with the 222, you will not be able to hook up a EHD to turn it into a DVR.

I'd get a 211 instead...those can be turned into DVR's

Thanks Voyager and Iceberg, but I'm not interested in the dvr and need the second tv. Yes SD not HD for the second and I'd rather not pay the extra money every month for a second receiver.

if the 301 is the only receiver on the account then yes the 222 would be better since there is no fee for the 1st receiver
